Throughout my first semesters at St. Norbert College, I have the opportunity to be apart of Village Project. This Project is an academic service-learning program run through the Sturzl Center at St. Norbert. I am part of a twelve person group that tutors third and second graders at St. Bernards Catholic School in Green Bay, Wisconsin. For tutoring, our main focus is to help the students who are behind with their language art skills, grow their skills and get up to the level that they should be at. With Village Project, we have the opportunity to not only build relationships with the students but we also get to gain experience with them as well.
